John Jay College - Scholarship Application and Search

John Jay College of Criminal Justice offers various institutional scholarships to support our newly admitted and continuing students.  Our scholarships are generally based on strong academic work and a commitment to public service.  Opportunities are available for undergraduate and graduate students.  

All scholarship opportunities are administered in accordance with the institution’s non-discrimination policies and are open to all students who meet the stated criteria, regardless of a student’s race, color, national origin, sex, gender, physical ability, political or religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or other characteristics.

The 2026-2027 General Application is now open. 
Deadline is November 2, 2026.

The Study Abroad Scholarship Application for Winter/Spring 2027 is now open. 
Deadline is November 2, 2026.

The Research, Conference, and Internships Scholarships Application is now open. 
Deadline is November 2, 2026.
 
Commencement Awards

The 2026-27 Commencement Awards application is expected to open in early November 2026.

ATTENTION NEWLY-ADMITTED STUDENTS:

The general application is intended for currently enrolled John Jay students. 
Newly admitted students (for Fall 2026) will be contacted directly about scholarships.

Please sign in using your John Jay College email username and password (not CUNYfirst credentials).  Students should use the "@jjay.cuny.edu" address, not you "@stu-mail.jjay.cuny.edu" one.

Please note that  other supplemental applications may also appear based on eligibility.
